Website and hosting

When you visit, technical connection data such as your IP address, time of access, requested page, browser information and errors may be processed to deliver and secure the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site is provided through OpenAI Sites, which may use infrastructure and hosting providers. Data is retained only for as long as necessary for operation and security or as required by law.

Contact and enquiries

When you contact us, we use the details you provide (such as name, email address, project, date and message) to respond and, where relevant, prepare a concert or collaboration. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We delete enquiries when no longer needed unless legal retention requirements apply.

The contact form sends your input through FormSubmit for delivery. Please avoid including sensitive information unless necessary. You can contact us by email instead.

CD orders and payments

Order buttons take you to external payment pages operated by Stripe. When you click, you leave this website. Payment and shipping details are collected there to fulfil your order (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); statutory accounting obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Card details are not entered on this website.

External media and fonts

Some pages embed YouTube videos using youtube-nocookie.com. Loading the player may connect to Google/YouTube; playing a video can transmit further data. Google Fonts are loaded from Google servers and some images from external image servers. These requests may transmit your IP address. The basis for these integrations is our legitimate interest in presenting the music on a functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can block external content in your browser.

External links

Links to Bandcamp, Instagram, YouTube, other websites and voice training lead to third-party services. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them. This site does not send your enquiry details to them merely because you click a link.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future. Contact mail@saradeckermusic.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, such as the North Rhine-Westphalia Data Protection Commissioner.
