FRIDA — Freedom of Flight

Three voices, double bass and drums: FRIDA brings different musical personalities together in a flexible ensemble sound. Sara Decker and Julia Ehninger move between jazz and pop, while Mascha Corman expands the palette with her distinctive vocal language. Double bassist Conrad Noll and drummer Jeroen Truyen complete the group.

The repertoire combines original compositions, poetry and reimagined pop songs. The voices do more than stand side by side: they enter into dialogue, at times finely woven, at times direct and rhythmic, always leaving room for spontaneous turns. The album Freedom of Flight, featuring eight tracks, was released by JazzSick Records in 2020.
